Why choose Brighton and East Sussex for your Airbnb investment?

Crowned the most hipster city in the world, Brighton has a big reputation to uphold. Top DJs, musicians, actors and YouTubers live in this cool and colourful seaside resort. And it’s easy to see what attracts them.

The iconic Brighton Pier and 19th-century Royal Pavilion party palace are the top sights. Visitors love losing themselves in The Lanes, a curious labyrinth of independent shops, fabulous bars and chic restaurants serving everything from vegan burgers to oysters or traditional fish and chips.

Plus there’s the multicultural vibe, amazing gay scene, coolest clubs, vibrant art scene, and beautiful historic architecture to consider. It’s also close to the picturesque South Downs National Park, an hour’s train ride from central London, and 30 minutes from Gatwick Airport.

No wonder this vibrant and creative city continues to be a bustling holiday destination attracting more than 11 million domestic and overseas visitors each year for pleasure and business.

All this makes Brighton a solid Airbnb investment for holiday lets together with an average daily rate for two-bed accommodation at a healthy £202 and an average occupancy of 75% in high season.

In Brighton & Hove’s BN1 and BN2 postcodes, there are 1236 holiday lets with total revenue booked standing at £54 million a year. It’s certainly one of the best places in the UK to buy a holiday let based on average daily rates of £144.86 for all types of holiday accommodation earning an average annual revenue of £29,073.
